4 Nights at MCS Stables

South of Flagstaff, AZ

This is a good as it gets! 

A Primo facility on the edge of the Coconino National Forest. 

Bonnie and her husband Rod are outstanding hosts.

The Mare Motel has large semi-covered runs.

There are 4 RV sites on the edge of  State Trust Land 
with electric and water hook-ups. 

 (Sadly...no septic!)

2 Nights at Crockett Ranch 
North of Flagstaff, AZ

This is an awesome stopover if  you are traveling from east to west or vise versa,

for instance between home and a show or a rodeo.

The owners are amazingly sweet and hospitable.

The facilities are acceptable but not 5 star, rather maybe 3 star.

They have electric and water, but no septic hook-ups. 

No "proper" campsite so you are at the mercy of

transient trailers pulling in and moving out at will.

We were awakened at 3:30AM with just such an occurrence. 

The riding trails were cinder and very slippery. Just sayin' !
