Bridle Ridge Horse Camp
This is only 17 miles northwest of Custer from Aspen Meadows. It is probably our favorite campground. Good sized stalls in a large barn, good hay available, spacious RV parking, and a good Verizon signal for hot spot usage. They have also just extended their WiFi so it reached us in the campground. Lovely owners, friendly and accommodating camp hosts and hostesses.
Miles of varied trail riding. Secluded and very quiet, but not too far from Custer.

what we understand, a local sculptor designed and built this
mythological bird-like spirit of the North American indigenous peoples'
history and culture. It's probably 10-15 feet tall.
