July 13-14
Albuquerque to Colorado City, Colorado was a really long driving day. Straight shot on I-25 and mostly good road but over 300 miles. Beyond my comfort zone. The overnight was noisy (very close to I-25) but nice owner, clean stalls and partial hookups.

July 14-15
Today wasn't too bad. We avoided Denver by taking their Toll Road. Expensive but well worth it. I-25 through Denver is the pits! Stopped at the Cheyenne Welcome Center for a free tank dump. The overnight just north of Cheyenne was acceptable. Large corral for the boys to share. A large loafing shed not mucked out but could have been worse. Partial hookups on a level driveway. Close to town so convenient for shopping before we get to Custer where there is basically nothing! We spent 2 nights here so we could stock up. They call their place Riding 2 Horses. No website or Facebook page. Had to find her on HorseMotel.com
